Splitzville Farm

Once more we are building!  a new drive shed is in the works for this summer as well as an expansion of the Bodega (shed) so that it will be able to shelter our two tractors, once the drive shed is complete we will move the tools out of the shed and move the food storage in. The older solar panels came off the roof of the house to make way for the four new 190 watt beauties, they will go up on the Bedega roof to power the freezers.

We are planning our planting!  Good thing to because it will be an early spring, not much of a winter so far.. The new garden is the priority this year and requires a huge amount of effort, we've almost got it done, In the spring I'll run over it with the discs and we will be ready to go!

Our battle with the local conservation authority continues, It is shocking that the province allowed these idiots to tax the poor rural peoples just because they have land near a swamp! And of course it goes without saying that it seems like we're the only ones being pestered by these cityiots!

We keep hearing horror stories of people getting attacked by the Cataraqui region Conservation Authority, if you have had problems with this terrorist organization, please contact us with your story!
