Fall/Winter

It has been an amazing season here at the farm. We have been building like mad all spring and summer, but now that the fall has arrived we are slowly settling in.

Our day starts at about six AM when Dylan, Martina's son gets up for school to catch the bus at about seven. He is doing great having left the inner city behind, the best marks in his life, and OMG he's happy!

The garlic and strawberries are in for next year, the parsnips and carrots are almost out of the ground. We've moved a lot of stuff into the new greenhouse/studio for the fall, we still have Swiss Chard in the garden, it seems to love the frost! We are going to plow a much larger plot for next year, at the back of the property I'm thinking of putting currents, blackberries, artichokes and onions  back there.
